If a 3-phase power supply is available in the house, it is not generally difficult for an electrician to provide the required 400 V power supply connection at the place of installation. However, if it is not possible to provide a discrete electrical connection a possible alternative is to install the instantaneous water heater together with the load shedding box LAB to the existing 3-phase cooker connection in the kitchen. This arrangement sees the electric cooker and the instantaneous water heater share the same connection, whereby the instantaneous water heater has priority.
In everyday use briefly interrupting the power supply to the cooker has no negative effect on the cooking (possible only in conjunction with electro-mechanical cookers without electronic timing control).
